Primarily for use in screw machines. Performs well in limited access areas or where extra rigidity is required. Short length provides increased rigidity in machine drilling. Also referred to as stub drills.
Cobalt HSS is used for drilling in tough, high tensile strength materials. Drills are made of heat resistant, heavy duty cobalt high speed steel, with heavy duty flute construction and 135° split point.
