Hand Expansion Reamers
Used to enlarge holes slightly to obtain desired fit. Left hand spiral is necessary for reaming hole with keyways or where interrupted cuts are encountered. Expansion hand reamers are primarily designed for work where it is necessary to enlarge holes by a few thousandths. The pilots and guides on these reamers are ground undersize to enable smooth entrance.
