CERATIZIT
PV52 Grade – Combine a tough wear and chip resistant substrate with PVD (physical vapor deposition) TiN coating to provide longer life and better performance over a wide range of materials. In-house and field tests confirm that PV52 New-Grip inserts perform well on carbon, alloy, and many stainless steels. Along with refinements to basic insert and toolholder geometries, the PV52 grade has improved performance over competitive tools by 10 to 50%, depending on materials being cut.
